A centralidade dos estados psicológicos críticos na resposta a mudanças nas características do trabalho: estudo em organizações geriátricas

O objetivo do presente trabalho é identificar a presença de estados psicológicos críticos na resposta às alterações nas características do trabalho, decorrentes da crise causada pela propagação do vírus SARS-CoV-2. Utilizando uma metodologia de cariz qualitativo foram analisadas 24 entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas a trabalhadores de instituições geriátricas. Os resultados indicam que, apesar das alterações nas características do trabalho terem tido impacto nos níveis de cansaço físico e psicológico, a vivência de estados psicológicos críticos por parte dos trabalhadores permitiram manter a motivação e a realização pessoal durante esse período. Realça-se a necessidade de monitorizar os estados psicológicos críticos enquanto elemento relevante na adaptação dos trabalhadores ao contexto de emergência.
